Zero clients, no strategy

Hello there,

It has been some time since I posted so, I thought today should be the day, I post again.

Ten months have passed since I officially started to search how to find clients for my online workshops.

I read all I could online and followed all the advice I found and this is the result :

• 1 online discovery workshop client.

• 1 testimonial to add to my website and promo.

• 1 online social media marketing strategy club registration for 1 month.

• 1 online social media content strategy created with the support of a Facebook group membership.

• 1 business strategist coach hired to create high ticket offers.

• 4 online guides purchased :

one used for hooks and call to actions CTA and

another about to grow a business to 6 figures

one explaining how to sell

another how to write using AI

• 12 email addresses from my marketing strategies, which include a survey, two freebies and two affiliate marketing links I promote.

This is where I am now.

Previously, after reading free articles, I decided to join Facebook groups as it had been suggested in several articles I read and I discovered a world of wonders.

As I was already on Facebook, it was quite easy to find groups about starting a business, sales and marketing online and also cool webinars.

Thanks to all these, I learned the basic of sales and finding clients, which includes defining your ideal client, finding a niche, selling strategies and how to sell and build an email list.

I am so grateful to have found so much free resources online, because I did not know much about selling.

Yet, as you can see I still have zero sales and my accounting is rather in the red, as I purchased books and guides, as well as joined a membership for a month and hired a coach. Nevertheless, I have to tell you one thing, I feel quite proud of myself, because in the last months, I went from doubting, not being sure, wondering if I should present myself online, to feeling great and even empowered thanks to a challenge where I was encouraged to add a picture of myself on my Facebook page!!!

Yes, that part was a big thing for me, because I created my Facebook page in 2023 and I was posting there from time to time but it had no views and reach, then some weeks later, maybe two because I used to browse and like other pages around themes I found interesting.

Until this year, when I followed a free Facebook women entrepreneur client growth group and thanks to the two great ladies presenting, I finally got out of my comfort zone to create a Facebook page banner with my picture and a note saying what I do to attract my ideal clients and with my social media strategy I reach 724 people organically, I have 92 engagements, as well as followers.

So although, I still haven't earned 1 coin, I am very proud and happy about what I have done so far because now I have a strategy and booked one client for my free online discovery workshops.

My next challenge is to post on this site regularly, because after all it makes me happy to share information, and my business experience with you.
