So what do you do after finding what business you want to do?

Now that you have found your business area, what is the next step? Actually it depends on what you are going to offer.

The very first time I thought about having a business, I wanted to sell coconut based products. I don't really know why, however that was the thing for me!

I then thought about what I could sell. I wanted to sell coconut scented facial, body, hair wash and creams as well as hand creams too. That was about it for the cosmetic products. However, I also wanted to sell jewellery, although it was not really in the theme anymore.

Sourcing was the problem. Finding the appropriate products was the difficult part, where would I find the wholesales, and would it be expensive, how many suppliers would my online store need and of course would I have the money to invest in it.

Defining exactly what product I wanted and finding how to source them was not easy and I was not sure that it was the best business to start.

I was motivated by the fact that I really liked coconut scented creams and I would actually buy some for myself and I wanted to own a store that had only these items.

The truth is I spent a little time thinking about its feasibility but not more than that.

I quickly stopped thinking about a coconut products based store and moved on.

In spite of this, I did learn about a bit, specifically sourcing products for a store is not that easy. Unless you can make them yourself, although this can also incur sweat and money too.

Hope you enjoyed this.

Thanks.
