How to write a sales page that converts?

I have been quite busy these days and I didn't know what to post until I struggled with creating a landing page.

I have been using the same landing page service for the past months and I noticed they had new features so instead of duplicating a promo page I had, I thought why not use their new features?

I was really impressed because the block creation options were easy to use, until I had to add the document I was giving out as a freebie.

The buttons backend had changed so this took some time, then eventually I understood how to upload it.

As I had learned that a good sales page, should be simple, however offer the most information possible for the potential client to be interested, I said let me add on the success page a nice message, explaining the best way to use the information I was sharing.

So I wrote a really nice welcome success page message, sharing valuable information to reach their goals. Once I finished I clicked "Done" as usual and there it happened!!!!

My browser bumped me out!!!!!! My page shutdown and I had to click on a tab and login to the website builder again, however the success page update was missing.

As I was really upset, tired and angry, I thought what can I do? I did not feel like writing another word, then it came to me, how about AI tools?

It seemed like a traitorous thing to do for all those who spent hours learning languages and see writing as an art, however at this point I understood I was not Shakespeare and it is always good to notice the new tech trends and see how they can help us humans intelligently.

Therefore I connected to my Facebook Messenger and used Meta AI to help me.

I knew that to write a good sales page or any promotional material, you have to have many elements, :

• The first is to know who is your target audience.

• What are their needs and problems.

• What does your product help them with.

• And know how they speak, (yes!!!! their tone, words, slang etc).

Then when writing your sales page you should have:

1. A heading that attracts their attention, it should use elements of surprise, shock, fear or even humour.

2. Then you can add a subtitle explaining a bit more.

3. Then the message that gives valuable information to them.

4. And a call to action CTA at the end.

Now I had all this in mind. I asked Meta AI :

"Can you please create a success page for a Gaol Setting Journal destined to busy women over 35 and include that it contains yearly, long term and big goals to help them reach their dreams as well as add a note saying for any questions please contact this email oferaservices@gmail.com

With this simple message that is called a prompt, I created the success page for my freebie.

It had:

• My ideal client here women over 35

• Their problem: being busy

• The item I was promoting and what it helped them for to reach their dreams.

And I then copy pasted it into my landing page builder and modified some parts of it, to correspond to what I really wanted.

If you have zero copywriting skills using an AI tool like Facebook Meta AI in messenger is really helpful, especially if you have many tasks to do on that day.

Another thing I noticed, is that what the AI tool suggested was close to what I had written, therefore I was quite happy to not need to write all of it again, simply tweak here and there.
